Today was Indiana Day – Although I found out Indiana became a state on 12/11/1816 so all music was chosen by Indianan born artist: Jackson 5, John Melloncamp, Axl Rose, David Lee Roth.
It is also Fast Food Day and my favorite fast food is hamburgers, so we started right at the source with where hamburger’s came from and did a cowboy and branding exercises to build our core and arms.
The Thang: The Branding workout – While moseying around the MUD room, we walked and did a few arm exercises. Hammer Curls, tricep extension, shoulder press, upright rows, and stopped and did some side bends, since they are awkward (about 10-20 reps).
We came back and did three sets of 15 jumping jacks, 5 knee jumps (modified as necessary) 10 thrusters, plank holds.
Finished off our rustling by doing a round robin of especially selected ab excercises.
COT: 12:1-3 Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. To have endurance we must be kind to ourselves and fuel our bodies, minds and souls to weather through the tough races ahead of us.
