BackBlast:

Inspired by a recent workout at The MUD Room, I remembered that I had a similar workout in the “Magic Binder of FiA Workouts” and pulled out the U2 You too! Workout and simplified the plan a little from the last time we did it.

It was 30 degrees, so we needed some cardio and U2 delivered!

Warm Up Song Helter Skelter – 3:00min

Run in Place – in and out feet

“Helter Skelter” chorus – do burpees (three choruses)

Forward Kick – alternating

“When you get to the bottom” – Hi Lo punches – alternating

Here we paused the music and did our Plank Challenge – 2 minutes and 12 seconds

Desire – 3:00 min – switch on “desiiiire”

Bicep curls

Tricep extensions

Lateral raise

Ventral raise (switch without saying “desire”)

Flys

Upright rows (harmonica)

Hammer curls

 

Hawkmoon 269 – 6 min

Dora – one partner runs around pavilion

Other partner does exercise of choice from those written on cones

When Bono sang we did Shoulder Presses.

When BB King sang we did jumping jacks.

When we weren’t sure who was singing we did whatever we wanted.

During Guitar solos we did side planks.

Started with Squats (you choose what kind)

When Bono sings “I….I believe in love” switch to push ups
