Today is both Flip Flops and U-Haul’s birthdays and so we did a co-Q birthday Q.  We decided to compile a list of our favorite exercises and make two different playlists – 1 from 1960 (Flip Flop’s birth year) and 1 from 1976 (U-Haul’s birth year).  Here’s how the workout went.

That Thang:

We played 10 minutes of songs from 1960.  Each song played for only one minute.  When the song changed we knew it was time to change exercises:

1. Raggedy Anns

2. Curls

3. Skaters

4. Box Cutters

5. Skull Crushers

6. Zebras

7. Russian Twists

8.  Pushups

9.  Pendulum Squats

10.  Plank Jacks

 

Run/walk, 5 birthday burpees

 

Same drill as the 1960’s songs 10 minutes of songs from 1976. AMRAP each exercise for one minute:

13’s (because it’s the 13th) we actually ran out of time and had to cut these back to 7’s in order to finish on time

Then Flip Flips closed us out with the COT, Nameorama and picture     It was a really great way to start our morning   We are so thankful for the balloons, party hats and friendship   Truly made for a special start to our birthdays!
