What a way to start our week! 7 PAX posted for this strength training workout, including an FNG! Sporty Spice brought her younger sister-in-law, who we logically named Baby Spice. Baby Spice joined right in without hesitation and kept up with us like a champ! She’s in town until Wednesday, so maybe we can convince her to post at our Wednesday morning w/o before heading back home.

We worked for 30 seconds of quick blasts of strength training followed by a 15 second transition/rest. I avoided a lot of running this morning because I was still feeling my calves (aka sore) from Titanium’s Saturday morning w/o at the Coop. I felt better to know hers were still barking at her too.

We set up by the concession stand wall, did a couple stretches and then jumped right in:

I introduced this workout as more focused on legs, but as we arrived at our 9th arm exercise Sonic Boom couldn’t help to ask, “I thought this was supposed to be a leg w/o?!” haha! I’m sure Triple Threat was thinking the same thing today as she was working with her new 12lb handweights! 💪 Time flew this morning and before we knew it, we were finished with all sets of arms, legs and abs. Great total body strength training workout!

Drama Queen encouraged us once again to join her AFTER our w/o for another mile run…her positive vibe and encouraging attitude is an AWESOME addition to FiA…especially at 5:30am on a Monday! So there we went, Drama Queen, Sporty Spice, Baby Spice and I all ran .5mi up Old Milton and back to the parking lot….MUCH better than running circles in the parking lot! Absolutely LOVED it!
