This morning was rainy and warm (compared to normal).  We met in the parking garage and exercised our bodies and our gratefulness muscles.  Here’s how this morning’s Q went….


High knees, Buttkickers, Grass Grabbers in cadence,  Michael Phelps, run/ walk a loop

The Thang- 

2 min of: 10 squats, 10 sit ups

 1 min High plank – reflect: What family tradition are you thankful for?


2 min of: 10 lunges, 10 LBC’s 

 1 min Low plank – reflect: What sound are you grateful for?


2 min of: 10 donkey kicks, 10 rosalitas-Ab Exercise, lay on back, legs raised to 90 degrees, keep legs perpendicular to the ground, separate legs outward then return to center. Heels should be flexed.

 1 min Left side plank- reflect: What is something about your body that you’re grateful for?


2 min of: 10 dollys, 10 glute bridges

 1 min Reverse plank – reflect: What challenge are your grateful for?


2 min of: 10 imperial walkers, 10 jump squats

 1 min Right side plank- reflect: What moment this week are you most grateful for?


2 min of: 10 fire hydrants, 10 glute bridges

 1 min Squats- reflect: What place are you most grateful for?


2 min of: 10 duck walks, 10 tricep dips

 1 min Calf raises- reflect: What is something you use daily that you are grateful for?


2 min of: 10 raggedy anns, 10 ankle biters

 1 min Al Gores- reflect: What is one thing that you have enjoyed recently about your job?


2 min of: 10 jumping jacks, 10 lateral lunges

 1 min pendulums: -Squat, right lateral leg raise, squat, left lateral leg raise. (That is one rep) Making sure foot is flexed on lateral leg lift. 

 reflect: What is something you witnessed recently that reminded you that people are good?


2 min of: 10 unicyles, 10 froggers

 1 min Bear crouch plank  – reflect: What choices have you made in the last five years that you would thank yourself for making?

PAX reflected internally during the 1 minute Lindsay Lohan at the end. 


We closed with a series of stretches and a COT focused on a gratefulness mindset.  It was so great to have a series of questions to share while we exercised this morning.  As the Q, I should have probably set the tabata timer to beep after each round because I got so carried away in the questions that sometimes I missed the timer.  But other than that it was a joy to exercise and hear each others’ thoughts.
