This is the perfect Q to do, when there is no Q or when you just can’t think of something. SO easy and a great workout.
Gather the gals around with your mats, weights and water. Set your timer for 13 minutes, play some music.
The first 13 minutes – arms
The second 13 minutes – legs
The last 13 minutes – abs
One FiA starts by picking an arms exercise for the PAX to do while they go and take a lap. When they come back, the next FiA picks an arms exercise while they go take a lap, etc. You go around the circle with each FiA picking an exercise relative to the part of the body you’re working on that round until the time is up.
Some of the exercises that were picked today:
Arms: bicep curls, tricep extensions, flys, pistons, side bends, around the world lateral raises, alligator push ups, hammer curls, overhead press…
Legs: narrow squats, sumo squats, around the world lunges, hydrants, donkey kicks, jane fonda, pendulum squats, monkey humpers, bonnie blairs…
Abs: LBC, BGS, ankle biters, raggidy annes, peter parkers, j-lo, plank…
By the end of the 39 minutes you’ve had a full body strength training workout, plus cardio…ended up running 2 miles total this morning!
COT: Today was a great and refreshing reminder of how awesome it is to have community and to know that you have people around you that can have your back.
