We renamed the Pyramid of Pain to the Pyramid of Progress!! 5 exercise, high reps, 5 laps. Each set moves down in exercise count, reps and laps. We warmed up and mourned the break up of BTS with K-POP a bit, then moved into the that thang!

5 exercises- 20 reps each

Pendulums- squat, lift right leg, squat lift left leg (1 rep)

Overhead Press

Hillbillies- L/R = 1

Rows

Curls

5 laps

 

4 exercises- 16 reps each

Deadlifts

Kickbacks

Pullovers

Chest Press

4 laps

 

3 exercises- 7 reps each

Thrusters

Lunges- L/R = 1

Russian Twists- L/R = 1

3 laps

 

2 exercise- 5 reps each

Helicopters- plank, alternating hands reach to the sky. – L/R = 1

TBEs

2 laps

 

1 exercise- 1 rep

Burpee

1 lap

We rested for a minute or less between sets. Followed by a cool down, COT and picture- we were all dripping with sweat. Thanks humidity! 🙂
