Since it had been a while since our last Lunge-a-Rama, I decided to bring it back. (There are several versions of this Titanium classic!)
This time we used a Tabata timer for the non-lunge sets with 30 seconds on and 5 seconds off. Just enough time to get started on the next part of the pair. We repeated the switch back and forth for the duration of the song.
Then the lunge sets required lunging until the song title words were sung. When you heard those, all pax repeated the paired exercise until those phrases stopped, then picked back up with the lunges. We did not make it through “Like It Is” or the ab exercises.
Part of this was due to only 3-4 hours of sleep for me the night before and I apparently could not think straight, much less work a timer, song start/stop, and instructions as the Q. (Good thing this is not a paying gig!!)

There was a new accountability/encouragement/spiritual growth group that started the night before with about 8 women from our Sunday School. This was a chance to go deeper with our faith and friendships through these relationships. What hit home with me as I drove to FiA that morning is that I’ve enjoyed similar friendships and accountability through our FiA circle.
I’m so thankful for how much you all have enriched my life!
