In preparation for winning the FiA Winter Olympics (!), we worked on our Lexicon knowledge. There’s always a competition that includes knowing what weird FiA names are associated with different exercises. We had a bowl of random exercises direct from the FiA Nation lexicon.
We took turns around the circle picking a strip with the name and description of an exercise and then we all did it for 40 seconds. During the 20 seconds between exercises, a pax drew, explained the motions, and we got started again. Usually there was a hold, plank, or something during those 20 seconds so we could be active the entire beatdown. (The Fiddler Crabs bit back the next day for me – sore quads!)
I’ve attached the beatdown so you all can catch up! You’ll have to finish as we did – with BLIMPS: 5 Burpees, 10 Lunges, 15 Imperial Walkers, 20 Merkins (Push Ups), 25 Plank Jacks, 30 Squats.
