08/16/2019 - midway - Last Minute 10 Minutes

Thursday afternoon I sent Extra a text to ask who was Qing the next morning at Midway. I had an FNG coming and was encouraging an MIA Pax to attend. Extra said “I guess I can.” But she Qs most of the time and I needed motivation to make sure I woke up and picked up my FNG so I volunteered. She put my name on the Sign Up doc and I didn’t think about it again until my alarm went off at 5:05am. My FNG had texted even earlier and couldn’t make it afterall and I would have bailed but I was now Q (good plan, self). But I left in a rush and forgot my dry erase board with a pre-planned workout at home so I had to come up with another WO plan quickly. On the 10 minute drive over I decided we would do ten 1 minute exercises with 30 sec breaks for arms, abs, and legs. It turns out someone had done a similar WO earlier in the week. Titanium encouraged us to kick it up by skipping the breaks. So we did 10 arm exercises for 10 minutes, ran a lap, 10 leg exercises for 10 minutes, ran a lap, and 10 ab exercises for 10 minutes. This is my first ever BB so I don’t recall each of the exercises. The point is – a failure to plan is NOT a plan to fail. Get up and wing it if you have to. Just be there and do the thing the best you can. It is better than not doing it at all! Thanks Titanium and Extra!
