BackBlast:

It was a cold, misty, dark morning, with possible rain pending, so we set up under the covered awning, just in case! We stretched some together, and then warmed up in cadence:

10 Cherry pickers

10 Windmills

10 Jumping jacks

Then we ran a lap around the circle.

I took this Thang from a past Backblast – we did 2 sets of 10 different exercises, each exercise for 45 seconds on, 15 seconds rest.

Set 1:

Bent Over Row

Curtsy Lunge Right

Upright Row

Curtsy Lunge Left

Tricep Kickbacks

Single Leg Deadlift Right

Hammer Curls

Single Leg Deadlift Left

Chest Press

LBC

Between sets we ran another lap around the loop.

Set 2:

Push Ups

Goblet Squat

Overhead Shoulder Press

Static Lunge Right

Bicep Curl

Static Lunge Left

Overhead Tricep Extension

Deadlift

Chest Fly

Bench Reverse Crunch

Ran a last lap!

We did Ab-o-Rama, each person specifying an exercise with how many reps.

After that there was just a bit more time left so we went around and each called out an arm, leg, OR ab exercise to do together as well.

We finished off by stretching while I shared my COT (right at which time it started raining on the awning over us!):

I read Titanium’s past COT about different seasons in life and giving, and then shared these Scriptures:

2 Corinthians 9:11

[11] You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

1 Timothy 6:17-19

[17] As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.

[18] They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, [19] thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

I shared about how I remember past seasons for my husband and I, and not having as much but always seeking to give how we could, and then how God has blessed us in ways we would never have imagined, so now we seek to be generous even more! So in this season of giving, we can remember God’s words, and I reminded the group of the $10-25 giftcards FiA is collecting for the teens at Bald Ridge Lodge and Jesse’s House, and also the Santa Ruck this Sat! (The Beta Club at our school, Fideles Christian School, is also currently collecting donations to bless the foster teens through The Way Home Ministry!) So let us be generous, cheerful givers this season and every season, as God is always generous with us and lavishly blesses us with so very much!

When I was done sharing, the rain had stopped 🙂 We snapped a pic and then were able to walk to our cars, completely dry! So kind of God!💜
