Since I indulged too much over the Thanksgiving holiday, I made everyone pay for it with me!! (But c’mon, who can resist pecan pie and chocolate cheesecake?!)  Our beatdown was a HIIT workout with 45 seconds on and 15 second rest.  The High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) came into play with the exercises we did, weights we used, good form, and pushing hard to the end of 45 seconds.

Everybody stepped up and worked hard – enough so that we got warm pretty quickly.  Layers are the thing for mornings like this!

COT:  During my holiday with family, I was reminded of all the phases of life we go through – school, college, marriage, babies, empty nest, retirement – plus the financial, social, and giving positions we experience in each.  When I have so many requests to give of my time, donate food, and buy gifts for needy families, I try to remember all of the many blessings I have which are even better when shared with others.  And how it felt when we didn’t have much time or money.  Giving is even more of a gift to the giver than the receiver!
