BackBlast:

We worked out in the concrete circle next to the Large Pavilion, but somehow turned it into a “four corners” workout. Each “corner” of the circle had 4 exercises. Each Pax started in one “corner”. We alternated between the first two exercises for 30 seconds until the song changed and then we rotated to the next “corner”. We rotated to all 4 corners twice. We had an interlude of exercises in between each round.

Corner 1:

1 – curls & jumping jacks

2 – triceps & high knees

Corner 2:

1 – side arm raises & side crunches alternating

2 – 20 front arm raises & “good mornings”

Corner 3:

1 – shoulder press & squats

2 – upright rows & lunges

Corner 4:

1 – arm circles forward & high knees

2 – arm circles backward & butt kickers

After first round – half of group run lap, half of group do LBCs – then trade

Half of group run lap, half Russian twist – trade

After second round – half run lap, half burpees – trade

Half run lap, half plank – trade

Stretch

The verse of the day gave us encouragement for the rest of our Saturday and weekend!
