7 PAX posted for our Pajama Party! AND Poppy returned to the PAX for a killer beatdown this morning! It was SO great to see her again and have our FiA Framily continue to grow.
We started out taking pictures of our Pajama Party so we could ditch the robes & eye masks before getting sweaty. We also brought some love and encouragement for Katie, Flip Flops niece, as she prepares to fight Stage 4 soft tissue sarcoma. Prayers for peace, strength, courage, and all it will entail to withstand and overcome the road before her.
We finished up the 5 Olympic Ring workout from last week, completing Ring 3-5 today.
Ring 3: 11’s – up/down planks and squat, curl, press, tricep ext.
We started with 1 up/down plank, ran about 30 yards to do 10 squat,curl,press, tricep extensions, then ran back to do 2 up/down planks, with 9 squat, curl, press, tricep ext….the number always adding to 11.
Sonic Boom & Titanium led the pack, always the first up and onto the next set. They kept our pace quick and our PAX moving! Hops kept the count when our oxygen deprived brains could no longer count by 1’s and add to 11.
Ring 4: 4 corners
We all started together at Corner 1– 10 step ups. Flip Flops, Poppy & Sonic Boom did tall wall step ups….get it ladies!
We ran to Corner 2: 20 monkey humpers. No matter how often we do these, we all feel that back of the leg burn….then we had to run to Corner 3!
Corner 3: 30 Plank jacks
We knocked these out & moved onto the Corner 4
Corner 4: 40 jumping jacks
Sonic Boom jumped right into her jumping jacks while the rest of us needed to take a couple breaths before jumping in.
Ring 5: ab ladder
It was great to lay on our mats for a second, until the ab burn began! lol Here’s what went down:
5 – reverse crunch, leg drop, scissor
10- weighted butterfly sit ups
20- boat canoe
25- flutter kicks
30- russian twist
35- LRC LBC
Done! We made it!
