We did the FiA Anniversary Workout as a Convergence – all AOs in one place (Halcyon AKA The MUD Room) and had a GREAT TIME!
Sonic Boom started us out with Motivators to warm up, then we did Tens (like Elevens but the total exercises add up to 10 instead). We did Smurf Jack on one end of the Green and Monkey Humpers on the other.
Then U-Haul lead a Train of Pain! She had exercises on cones all around the Halcyon area. We did a movement from one cone to the other and continued that movement until everyone in the “train” arrived at the cone. Then we did the exercise on the cone. There were 10 exercises for a nice tour of Halcyon.
Then Tex led a game of FiA Go Fish using the FiA Workout Deck. Every PAX got 3 cards. One PAX started by asking another PAX do you have any (3’s, 7’s, Queens, etc.). If the other PAX had the card requested, she gave it to the asker and we did that exercise (reps=number on the card). If the other PAX did not have the card requested, she said “Go Fish” and the PAX picked from the pile in the middle and we did that exercise. If a PAX got a set (3 of a kind in our game), then we did ALL THREE exercises for the reps on the card. We ran out of time before we made it all the way around the circle but we still had a fun time playing FiA Go Fish!
We ended our time with a COT reminder that we love FiA and Tex thanked us all for being part of this wonderful group.
