07/01/2022 - the_mud_room - Diaper Dash Workout – MUD Room

We did a quick warm up and then jumped right into the Diaper Dash Workout. Everyone had at least one box of diapers to donate to Whispering Hope Women’s Pregnancy & Resource Center (and a few other things too – like cut outfits and baby wipes).
We had exercises that started with the letters of DIAPER DASH. Sprinkled in we had 3 cards with a baby in diapers on it. When those were pulled we did an exercise with the box of diapers. We did most exercises for 45 seconds with 15 seconds rest in between. Some activities took longer so we paused the timer for that exercise.
Here’s what we did.
D – Diamond Push U
I – Imperial Walkers
A – American Pie Sit Ups
P – Peter Parkers
E – Elevens (side arm raises & pendulum squats)
R – Rosalitas
D – Dead Bugs
A – Around the World Lunges
S – Slurpees (a burpee with 2 pushups)
H – Hammer Curl
(Whenever possible, we used our diaper box as a weight)
1st Baby card -Run lap with box of diapers over head
2nd Baby card – jump over box of diapers for 45 seconds
3rd Baby card – partner up – one partner runs lap with 2 boxes of Diapers while other partner does jumping jacks, then switch.
We got through the cards one full time and then started over and did some exercises a second time.
We followed that with some stretching and a COT explaining the impact that Whispering Hope has on pregnant women’s lives, especially when they are also struggling with some other issues on top of being pregnant. Thanks for participating in this FiAlanthropy work out!
