After visiting with Turkey Trot and her new 2.0, Will, yesterday evening, I was inspired to create this workout! There was quite a bit of hustle this morning as well as plenty of mumble chatter. All signs of a great beatdown. THE THANG: We set our mats on one side of the parking lot and brought our weights to the other side. As different songs played (all themed with the word “baby” in them) we did different exercises, 10 reps each. If you were caught in the middle crossing to the other side when the word “baby” was said in a song, you had to drop to do a burpee. I’ve never seen FiA’s move so fast across a parking lot! LOL! I caught Sporty Spice, Drama Queen and Sonic Boom busting a tail feather across that parking lot to avoid the burpees! LOL Sporty Spice and Triple Threat just might have been caught the most. Hey, we don’t wake up at 5:00am for nothing, right ladies?! This might have been Hermione’s favorite w/o of all time since she loves burpees so much….is that still true Hermione?! Titanium got dealt an unfair hand today since her hips (or her doctor) don’t allow her to run, but I will say, timing was everything and she is the fastest walker I’ve ever met! Here’s what we accomplished today! There were actually 3 more rounds/songs planned…which time didn’t allow, but I think we weren’t too disappointed we didn’t get to those! Sporty Spice and Drama Queen got in a little extra credit this morning too. They’re doing a 1 mile a day challenge at work, so they talked me into joining them for an extra mile after the beat down. There’s definitely strength in numbers and this really reminded me of why FiA is just so amazing….we are definitely #BetterTogether and stronger because of it! GREAT workout this morning ladies!
