Queso was back from quarantine!! So we caught up with her while we warmed up our muscles. The weather was rainy but not too cold under the cover of the Large Pavilion.
We started with workout with BLIMPS…
I-Imperial Walkers 15
P-Plank Jacks 25
Then we did phase one of the conveyor belt. Each PAX started at one picnic table where there was an exercise listed. The “conveyor belt” was moving toward the back of the pavilion. We did the exercise for 45 seconds then had 15 seconds to rest & move to next station on the belt. The person at the end of the conveyor belt ran to the other end and started there. Phase 1 included these exercises: pendulum squats, butt kickers, skaters, high knees, calf raises, jumping jacks
Next we did BOMBS…
O-Overhead Press 10
B-Big Girl Situp 20
Then we switched the direction of the conveyor belt and did another set of exercises (all arms) for 45 seconds on, 15 seconds to rest & move to next station: bicep curl, tricep curl, fly, upright row, lateral raise, front raise.
Next we did an Abs Accumulator with Reverse Crunches & LBCs. We did 1 Reverse Crunch and then 2 LBCs; 2 Reverse Crunches then 4 LBCs; increasing the numbers each time til we got to 10 Reverse Crunches and 20 LBCs. (My abs are feeling it today!)
We had time for one more BLIMPS set and then cooled down.
Our COT was the verse of the day from Proverbs 9:10 (The Message) – “Skilled living gets its start in the Fear-of-God, insight into life from knowing a Holy God. It’s through me, Lady Wisdom, that your life deepens, and the years of your life ripen. Live wisely and wisdom will permeate your life…”
