My sweet friends joined me for a workout on my birthday this year – it was the perfect celebration for turning 36! I am so blessed to be able to work out with such strong, dedicated ladies every day, and especially on my HBD!

I did a simple pyramid:

10 reps each of burpees, sumo squats w/side kicks, push-ups, reverse crunches, and reverse flies (10 for Month of October), followed by 1 lap

21 reps each of step-ups, overhead triceps extensions, split squats, and hammer curls (21 for 21st day of October), followed by 2 laps

83 secs each of wall sit, jumping jacks, and side bends (I was born in ’83), followed by 3 laps

36 secs each of monkey humpers & upright rows (I turned 36), followed by 4 laps

1 min plank to top it off, followed by 5 laps

I was pretty spent after that, so opted not to run through the pyramid for a second time!

Then we took turns doing 36 reps of each of our favorite abs exercises – in & outs, Russian twists, reverse crunches, and Dollies because these gals are ripped.

Stretch and CoT: Psalm 91 because my mom said she heard it repeatedly when she was pregnant with me, so we were reminded of the Security of the One who Trusts in the Lord. <3
