BackBlast:

I don’t do much in the realm of social media, so I didn’t announce my 2.0 on Facebook, nor did I reveal the gender reveal there. BUT my FiAs are my super fun friends and humored me for a baby reveal workout to find out if my “Baby Boom” due in February is going to be FiA or F3!

#Spoileralert: It’s a girl, and Tex opened the reveal box at the end of the workout! Pregnancy brain only hindered me most of the time, but Titanium kept me on track, and all my PAX helped me with the counting part. It was a blast celebrating with each of you.

To get us pumped, here’s how it went down:

Warm Up – 3 minutes

• Hip Openers
• Drops
• Imperial Walkers
• Hillbillies
• Swing Lunges
• False starts (like frogger w/2 plank jacks)

Decorating the Nursery: 45/10; 4 times thru (for L/R moves, do other side on 2^nd and 4^th rounds)

• Weighted Side Bends
• Monkey Humpers
• Choppers & Upright Rows
• Narwhals
• Zebras/Donkey Kicks
• Balance Deadlifts

Core Stability: 40/20; 2 times thru

• Bird Dog Crunch
• Side Plank Crunch – L
• Side Plank Crunch – R
• Cradle Rockers (hollow rocks or in & outs)
• Isometric Crunch Hold
• Forearm Plank w/Alternating Reach

Countdown to Baby:

Round 1 – 10 reps each:

• Kiss the Baby
• Prisoner squats
• Arnold presses
• Split squats – R
• Split squats – L
• Chest flies
• Run/walk a lap

Round 2 – Relay to Delivery Day: Team Boy vs. Team Girl

Start at loop & relay to large pavilion; PAX move in place or plank while waiting for tag

• Burpees for the baby – 5 reps each person before running to tag in next PAX; winner gets to open the reveal box
