This was definitely an all-play beatdown! Everyone came with their “favorite” arms, legs, and ab exercises (3 each in case there were duplicates). If they didn’t have some in mind, we used the Deck of Death to pull 3 exercises. Lots of merkins in there…
Tex was our Tabata timer – 40 seconds on and 10 seconds rest for each exercise. Couldn’t do it without her!
We went around the circle and when it was your turn, I played “your” themed walk out song based on your FiA name. (Had sooo much fun finding these!!) We listened while doing the 3 exercises (40 seconds each) and then moved on to the next pax and her walk out song.
We did shoulder circles (harder than it sounds – thanks, Confetti!), Russian Twists AND American Hammers, Monkey Humpers, and lots of others. Thanks, everyone, for playing along and joining in the Q fun!
In college, I traveled with a singing group that lead youth weekends around south Georgia. This included silly skits. One of those talked about everyone being a critical and unique part of the body, necessary for it to function well. Didn’t matter if you were the arm, little toe, or armpit – everyone is important. FiA is that way to me. All of you are important in making up the body that is FiA Alpha and we couldn’t be who we are without you! Nor would we be as strong, fun, challenging… Thanks for being you!
And here’s the walk out playlist!
