We were 8 PAX strong on day 3 of #FiAOlympics. We came sporting our caps for Spar, our fallen FiA sister from FiA LKN. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and Spars family and friends.
After doing some quick individual stretches, we jumped right in!
THE THANG: 5 Olympic Rings
Ring 1 was an AMRAP…..we knocked out as many reps as possible in 45 seconds with a 15 sec rest in between the following exercises:
- burpees (yuuup!) – have you ever seen Signs form with her burpee….IMPRESSIVE pushup!
- macarena plank – thank Titanium for coming up with this one
- ski jump curtsy lunge
- man makers – one of Fast Feets favs
- step ups
- squat jumps
- mt climbers
Ring 2 was a partner relay/Dora. A LITTLE over-ambitious on my part, but we did it! We partnered up (shout out to my beast partner that made it happen and happy, Hops!) and while one partner was running or walking the perimeter of the green, the other partner was cranking out the exercise to help the cumulative total reach the following reps:
- 40 push ups
- 80 donkey kick hydrants (singles) – I saw Buzz‘s form on this one….get it girl!
- 120 flys
- 160 curls – suns not out, but Flip Flops guns were!
- 180 sumo squats
- 200 tricep extensions
During our lap run, Tex & Fast Feet kept me on pace….Tex & I passed each other in opposite directions nearly every lap while I heard Fast Feet right behind my heels each round….and don’t get it twisted, she was ONLY behind me because she started her lap AFTER me….I am NOT faster than her! lol
I wasn’t near Buzz
Ring 3, 4, & 5 are to be continued since there are just not enough minutes in a FiA morning sometimes.
COT time was improv this morning, but it challenges us to walk the walk if we’re talkin the talk!
