BackBlast:

Definitely another year of semi-organized holiday chaos!!  Our 2nd annual holiday workout and gift exchange was such a fun time!  We agreed that our FiA Alpha group has been a blessing to us all. #bettertogether #morethanjustaworkout

We gathered all 24 of us in a circle with gifts in the middle.  Took some serious effort to get everyone to quiet down for the explanation… Giddy excitement was in the air!  The rules were easy; the exercises not so much.  But the goal was to continue that exercise for the duration of the pax opening a gift.  We were close.

The Thang:

25 Days of Christmas

“ Start exercise and 1st person gives their recipient a gift

“ Most festively dressed pax starts us off

“ Recipient opens while everyone is doing the exercise

“ (Open quickly or there are lots of reps!)

“ That person then gives gift to their recipient

“ Rinse and repeat until everyone has opened their gift

COT:

From “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” (my personal favorite)

“And the Grinch, with his grinch-feet ice-cold in the snow,

Stood puzzling and puzzling: “How could it be so?

“It came without ribbons! It came without tags!

“It came without packages, boxes or bags!”

And he puzzled three hours, till his puzzler was sore.

Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before!

“Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “doesn’t come from a store.

“Maybe Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!”
